Onze opdrachtgever is een jong, groeiend bedrijf in Beverwijk dat natuurlijke home & personal care producten ontwikkelt en produceert in eigen fabrieken. Een dynamisch bedrijf met een duidelijke ambitie: duurzame schoonheid en natuurlijk welzijn toegankelijk maken voor iedereen. Het QC-lab telt een klein team, en de voertaal op de werkvloer is Engels.

Functieomschrijving
Als QC Laborant werk je in wisselende ploegendienst (ochtend 06:30–15:00 / avond 14:30–23:00) en ben je verantwoordelijk voor het zelfstandig uitvoeren van kwaliteitscontroles tijdens de productie. Je voert fysisch-chemische en sensorische analyses uit, beoordeelt analyseresultaten en geeft batches vrij of blokkeert ze op basis van vastgestelde specificaties. Afwijkingen leg je vast in het kwaliteitssysteem en rapporteer je aan het QC-team. In de avonddienst ben jij de enige QC’er aanwezig. Dit betekent dat je fungeert als aanspreekpunt voor kwaliteitsvraagstukken op de vloer en snel schakelt wanneer dat nodig is. Je werkt nauw samen met productie en QA om kwaliteit en voortgang te waarborgen.

Functie-Eisen

  • MBO+/HBO-opleiding in chemie, laboratoriumtechniek of vergelijkbaar

  • Spreekt vloeiend Engels (voertaal binnen het QC-team)

  • Zelfstandig, besluitvaardig en stevig in je schoenen  

  • Bereid om in wisselende ploegendiensten te werken

  • Ervaring met laboratoriumanalyses en meetapparatuur (zoals dichtheid, penetrometer, drukmeter) (pré)

  • Kennis van GMP en kwaliteitsprocessen in een productieomgeving (pré)

  • Ervaring met Coptis (pré)

The QC lab consists of a small team, and English is the working language on the lab floor.

Job Description
As a QC Laboratory Technician, you will work in rotating shifts (morning 06:30–15:00 / evening 14:30–23:00) and be responsible for independently performing quality control checks during production. You will carry out physicochemical and sensory analyses, evaluate analytical results, and release or block batches based on established specifications. You will document deviations in the quality system and report them to the QC team.
During the evening shift, you will be the only QC staff member present. This means you act as the point of contact for quality-related questions on the production floor and are able to respond quickly when needed. You will work closely with Production and QA to ensure both quality and operational progress.

Requirements

  • MBO+/HBO degree in Chemistry, Laboratory Technology, or a related field 

  • Currently living in the Netherlands and have the right to work in the Netherlands

  • Fluent in English (working language within the QC team) 

  • Independent, decisive, and confident 

  • Willing to work in rotating shifts 

  • Knowledge of GMP and quality processes in a production environment (plus)

  • Experience with laboratory analyses and measuring equipment (such as density meters, penetrometers, pressure gauges) (plus)

  • Experience with Coptis (plus)
